Last Saturday was record store day. Unfortunately I missed a record that I wanted for my collection.

How do I edit this?
I wondered what was going on at Collectable. I wandered down to have a browse a few months back when i got my new turntable to find that, although the doors were open and an A-board was out, the gate in front was locked and it didn't seem to be straightforward to get someone's attention to let you in.

The dude in the funny little covered market in Rugeley was very good last time I had cause to be down that way and Rubber Soul in Stoke is good too.

Tim's been struggling with stock levels and the shop was packed to the roof. He's shifted a good bit now and it's just about safe to go in again. He's got a good bit of vinyl out now, might be worth a stroll down. Dave in the Market has a selection of what he thinks you should like.

Easily my favourite shop in England, never mind Stafford! I really really wish Tim would get a bigger store though as Im sure I'd spend more money if he had a little corner where vinyl addicts like myself could get a cup of tea while perusing the hiddens record gems and their art work. I love that people who pop in there will all talk, no matter if they are complete strangers, as they all have a love of vinyl. Back to bikes is my second favourite store in England. Both a little bit of England that has been lost in the mian with the march of the supermarkets and chain shops, the ubiquitous identikit highstreets and the ilk :(
