Courses on offer at Stafford College

I've had a word with marketing/enrolments, and have an official answer for you:

Stafford College said:
As Tumble Weed has correctly stated, adults have not been charged tuition fees for A-level courses during this current year. Arrangements for the next academic year have not yet been made but a decision about fees will be taken by March of this year.

There are exemptions for adults on other full-time and part-time courses, depending either on the level of qualification that people already have or on financial circumstances. To check if you qualify, pop into the Enrolment Centre and ask the experts!
Hope that helps :)

2 recommendations from me:

They do a great silversmithing course.
And Greek is starting up again next week.
I have literally just received an email asking me to cancel the Greek for Absolute Beginners course on Tuesday evenings, I assume due to lack of interest but I can check if required?
I am on for the Monday advanced course, so fingers crossed this is still running.
The tutor is a FB friend, so I will check with her too, but if you hear anything first, let me know.
Thanks

Well worth it - almost the only worthwhile thing that I did at school after the age of eleven..

There are teach yourself things available, I'm sure.

Radio Finland, strangely, broadcasts the news in Latin - http://yle.fi/radio1/tiede/nuntii_latini/

Have a listen - http://areena.yle.fi/player/index.php?clip=1326098068833&language=fi
Ooh thankyou x

*quicky googles*

And your welcome

I tried to use google translate to reply but it was total nonsense, when I typed the Latin back in and transferred to English it came out with something totally different again, what a silly programme!

*sighs and resigns to a life of latinless*

I meant to mention - I noticed there is a Vegan Cookery course on Wednesday nights, starting in April. I thought that might be of interest to Henry's Cat and any other vegan/veggie forumites? Five weeks, £30-something. The cookery courses are usually very good and you get to eat or take home a meal at the end of each class.

Sorry to dissapoint but I've just been asked to cancel Greek for intermediate learners, which is Mondays at the main site. As this is the only Greek one I can see, I think your course just got cancelled :(
