This was the £15 box of fruit and veg delivered this afternoon...
I have been name-checked for my awesomeness once more this week.
One can only concede that it was well deserved...
Specifically the rather industrial looking place just before the Vets4Pets turnoff. It used to be a shoe place I think? Now you go park up straight ahead, go into the door next to the parking and work your way around. It’s not the easiest place to find, or wasn’t when we last went
Shoe Shed is still there.
Is it still crap?
Skills to the Costa at Riverside who helped me clean up half a flat white that I threw across the table. Even better they gave me a fresh drink even though it was totally my error....
The staff in there are lovely - we pop in most Friday evenings (so you all know when to avoid) with mad kids and they are super nice to them and very tolerant of their after school craziness
It's not my usual haunt, I have deep seated issues at the time they take to serve people, on this last occasion the place was empty and it still took an age, so their actions were a pleasant surprise
Clearly, if you think throwing coffee across the table is acceptable behaviour
Big skills to Tom at Stafford Floors and rugs (part of Stafford carpets that's on Astonfields)... We needed the hallways, landings and lounge on our 3 storey carpeted. Good explanation of the different types, offered a very nice remnant piece for the lounge. Pricing was very competitive.
Installers came this afternoon and did a cracking job, and even trimmed the door in the lounge (new carpet is so bloody thick)...
Problem is now it makes all the other carpet in the house looks crap so well have to replace the lot!!!
Just bought an extremely nice pair of shoes from Numero Uno in Mill Street. Top notch customer service at a fairly reasonable price. Will be back.
I suspect that was Tom Jolley. It's a family run company. They did a fantastic job at the recently converted fans bar at Stafford Rangers. Great company.
Always use these guys for my needs do e a lot of my rooms recently .Top class company
Sending out a Skill to Appliance Force today. Local guys, They couldn’t actually fix my oven but they were quick on the phone, honest about it the issue when they turned up and no call out charge. Worth a punt if you’re out of warranty on something that’s a small fix.
However, the less said about Zanussi after sales care, the better.
It's the appliance of science
Skill points to the girl who served me in Eurochange in the guildhall today. So pleasant and I got home to find a smiley face with " Have a nice holiday" written on the the extra copy of the receipt. Cheered me up, nice touch !
I had an ejuice delivery the other day with a note written on the paperwork saying 'enjoy your vape , hope you like the haribo and as a special thank you for your custom of the past year we've enclosed a vape T Shirt '
Left them a google review and thank you the next day and received a 10% discount on my next order.
Now read that out loud, but pretend it's 1994
Visited Lektrix in Crabbery street today to stock up on a variety of types of light bulbs for son (as the little specialist lighting shop by him he's been using is closing ). Went in armed with a mobile phone full of photos , and came out happy with a bag full of various bulbs and getting a deal for buying lots of each sort. Order placed for some that weren't in stock . Great service!
When I pick up the rest in a couple of days time, I shall be taking some of my own non-working bulbs /tubes that I never knew where to get replacements for and see if I can actually get my units / oven/ hob illuminated again after all these years.
Much easier in our house , just buying the old fashioned bayonet bulbs for the lights!
