Day trip to Stirling

The american football team I help at has an away fixture in Stirling on Sunday, kicking off at 4:00pm, and are taking a couple of coach loads of players, coaches, staff and cheerleaders up from Birmingham, setting off at 7:30am and getting back in the early hours ..... and rather than me drive into Birmingham and back, I've suggested they pick me up at J13 or J14.

Can anyone please suggest anywhere near to either junction where I can park the car for the day to save Mrs Mikinton having to drop me off and pick me up.

Thanks in advance.

Enjoying a drop of red.
If you go to J14 you can leave your car on the car park of the Redhill Pub. Should be reasonably safe there as it's busy during the day and used by Premier Inn folks during the night.

Might be worth investigating around Crab Lane - a bit closer, if they want to just drop off and back on again..

Thanks guys.

In the end I did a recce around Eccleshall Road, both on Google and by visit, and settled on parking the car on Creswell Farm Drive. It's fairly wide and I wasn't parking in front of anyone's house.

Regarding the game, it was pretty memorable. We won a real nail-biter, but it was the travelling and the blizzard conditions that added to a pretty amazing day. (I was operating the camera behind the endzone and at one point couldn't see any of the action at the other end of the field, 100 yards away. I'll post a photo as soon as I see any.)

I trust the match report praised the 'Stirling effort' put in by the team?
 - I'll check. It'll be written by students so probably won't feature. Anyway, here's a photo from FB (I don't know if you have to be on FB to be able to see it.)
