deliberate attempt at free advertising

I write this as a father, intelligent Stafford citizen of whom unfortunately has a niggle about anything deceitful and all sorts of unfair behaviour that i know happens daily but find myself (due to age) involving myself in the quagmire of this daily rubbish. So not being one to disappoint, below is a prime example.

I purchased the Stafford Newsletter today (21st May 2015) to find on the front page what can only be described as a joke by the newsletter ...
It consisted of an article stating that your baby was or can be unsafe by photographing the child yourself !!!!!
Coincidently , the author of the article was a stafford based photographer ....mmmmm
Call me suspicious but for a start I have never heard of any occasion where a baby as been harmed by either a photographer, family members or others photographing new born babies ??? However this woman would have you believe that she is the only photographer you can trust to keep your baby safe...phew, praise the lord that she is available for hire !

Summary :
This woman has created an issue that does not readily occur but to get her business onto the front page she sensationalised the story to the Stafford newsletter , of whom would of been frothing at the mouth for such sensation...when in fact it was a clever ploy to advertise her photography business in the prime spot for FREE merely by inventing a story to worry us decent, naturally worrying folk into hiring her and her alone as NOBODY else can be trusted.

If the said photographer is a member on here...please feel free to correct me.

Some may agree, some may not...I for one ( as reasonably intelligent ) saw the ploy immediately...what do you reckon?

Newspapers in general are full of these non-stories - it's probably only a matter of weeks before there is one telling us that repeatedly supporting a baby's head leads to weak development of neck muscles.

Its the fact they were too stupid to realise what this business was doing...I might start a sensation about all of the trees in stafford that could fall on you and your family due to a very rare environmental phenomenon...oh and yes...Im the only man trained in this phenomenon so call 01785.....

Just tried to read said article - sadly the massive full page adverts got in the way, so I gave up

I can't think of any cases where babies have been injured by photographers or anyone else during photoshoots either - I don't take those types of images myself, but I do know a couple of people who do and they've never had a problem and know exactly what they're doing.

Yes , I have just completed a coppicing project of Red Alder on farmland in Ranton. The landowner wanted the brash leaving for the wildlife but it can also be removed if preferred. Will upload some pics. Could you estimate quantity and is access good?
