Doesn't appear to be anything on pastrack about it. It's not the building my Dad used to work in as I though, that's the one next door.

Cheers @Gramaisc & @Lucy ...Reason I ask is that I'm convinced that there is something else there other than myself and the other residents of the building....

Will be watching this thread, hoping that some more information is unveiled! Used to live opposite in the 90's, as Gramaisc knows, and it always intrigued me!

Oddly enought, this was a similar train of conversation that led to me asking about building on gaol mews...

Lights being switched on and left one when I'm out.....sounds of someone walking on the floor boards in another room when I know that there is no one else in the flats above or below me.......and the best one....waking up and noticing things have moved from one room to another.

    Do tell more....

Much the same in my hairdessers (Brown's in goal mews), started when work was done to an upstairs room - lights and radios misbehaving, bottles and radiator valves unscrewed, general sense of someone upstairs, even when there's no one else there. General sense that 'sonething' is annoyed at being distrubed, but not malevelant....if you believe in that kind of thing of course.

Interesting.....that's kinda the feeling I have at the moment....nothing malevolent...just letting you know its there....who or what ever "it" is....

From the look at the back of the building, there seems to have been another out building at some point? a stable possibly?

Would the council archives have anything on the deeds to the building? land plots etc.....?

Fantastic record...where did you find this if you dont mind me asking?

Looks like the building was purely residential since it's build? Interesting about the buildings around it, No. 95 being a green grocer's? Quite a lot of Police officers and cadets around too? Not surprising as I understand there used to be a Police house of Friars Terrace?
