Tell me your not serious? I thought we were a bit more advanced than flag burning in this country but maybe I was wrong.Lunar Scorpion said:Is it to burn? You could try making one.
If it is for burning, I will be happy to assist you - with both the making and burning.
In fact, there aren't many flags I wouldn't burn! One exception is the Jolly Roger.
I would be interested to see a list. If you have the time.Lunar Scorpion said:In fact, there aren't many flags I wouldn't burn!
Vexillogically speaking, a flag is a piece of cloth, often flown from a pole or mast, generally used symbolically for signaling or identification. The first flags were used to assist military coordination on battlefields, and flags have since evolved into a general tool for rudimentary signaling and identification, especially being used in environments where communication is similarly challenging (such as the maritime environment where semaphore is used). National flags are potent patriotic symbols with varied wide-ranging interpretations, often including strong military associations due to their original and ongoing military uses. Basically, it makes it a bit easier to be reasonably sure that you're killing the right people. And some people need something to get upset about.basil said:what exactly is the point of a flag ?......no let's ask what is the point of a national flag ?
