Does anyone make their own potato fritters?

Trevor the former owner at the Hand and Cleaver made a marvelous tempera batter - he used Shropshire Gold, a non fizzy real ale

Although it may not sound it, battered cauliflower with a sweet curry sauce was a plate of heaven- rather a surprise for someone who dunna like cauliflower much

Not entirely related, but I can't believe amazon in the US has 493 results for turkey fryer while we have just 100, none of which are actually fryers. I am outraged, and I believe your fritters would benefit from cooking somewhere that can do a 20lb turkey.

I want one that can flash-fry a lamb
