Its not Stafford central but we used New Buildings Farm Boarding Kennels in Hilderstone for 6-7 years until we lost our Chloe a few months ago. Very friendly people and good value for money. Chloe alwasy used to come back knackered !!

Dropoff is 8-10.30am & 4-6pm daily.

They also do dog washes.

Holmes from home I am using for the first time at Sugnall in September. Used a different one in the past but found their kennels a little small.

We were looking and I specifically wanted home from home basis. I did approach a recommended one in Stafford but didn't like the clause in her contract that they wash your dog (at an additional charge of £10) which is mandatory after a weeks stay and if they get dirty they reserve the right to rebath. I appreciate they want a clean house but felt that if my pooch came in with dirty paws the owner would have a melt down. (Mighty just be me being strange)

I was then told about Winfields Wagly Dog Tails. It's a home from home basis with a 10 acre field attached and fenced - so your pooch can play at their leisure and be perfectly safe. I saw videos of my girl playing football with the other boarder and the owner. She had a great time. My girl stayed in February and will go back in August. I also liked the fact that the owner Sarah told me I could call in and spot check any time before booking for the first time. It's in Essington, about 20 mins from Stafford. Well worth a visit.
