Dog Walking/Pet Sitting/One to one dog training

We are two pet loving third year university students offering affordable dog walking, one to one pet dog training and in (your) home pet sitting services.

Having owned a Labrador called Archie for almost thirteen years until sadly almost two months ago, I know that it is important for our dogs to get the exercise and stimulation that they require in order to be happy and behave themselves! I also competed informally in obedience, agility, handling and canine freestyle having been members of local training clubs for long periods of time. We also achieved our Canine Good Citizen award.

No matter whether on their own or in large groups, how tiny they are to how chunky they are, to how much they adore water to how much they detest it, to how quiet or how chatty, Dave has owned and adores almost all our little critters and is aware of how important it is for our cats, hamsters, budgies and fish to be in an attentive, caring and clean environment! He also has been driving seven years with a full clean driving license.

We have both been fully CRB checked.

We will not walk more than two dogs at a time each as we feel we cannot give your pet the attention they deserve whilst keeping them under complete control.

As a price guide (we do not currently have a price list as we will tailor quotes to individual clients needs)

£5 for a 30 minute social walk/stretch legs

£7 for 45min short 'tire out' walk

£10 for 1 hour exercise walk

£15 for 1.5 hour longer exercising walk

We will insist on a free consultation with both dog and owner to discuss any queries, medical needs and also to ensure your pet can get used to us. This is also for us to check that we feel confident that we can keep your dog under full control at any one time.

Do you need a CRB check to do a paper round?

Some of those gaffs are mighty posh and you get to peer through the window in the early hours

So are ex cons not lovers of dogs then? Hmmmmm....

I will bow wow wow down to your specialist knowledge, I do like a specialist, I get to see quite a few in a week...

Is there a machine for scraping dog shit off the floor yet? Or do you just pretend not to have noticed like the chavs up west?

I do like my gadgets, but haven't heard of such a thing yet. However my old lab had a rather foul but I suppose semi useful habit of eating animal crap. But apart from that and shameless greediness, we were quite lucky :)

True.

But you can walk as many Labradors, or other breeds, as you like. I believe that it is based upon whether or not you might be overwhelmed by their enthusiasm if a rabbit was to flaunt itself at them...

In Laois it is an offence to walk more than four greyhounds at once. Fact.
I can think of 2 greyhound/whippet cross lurcher things i'd like take for a long walk off a short pier with weights round their necks. Do the same to the owner too. Normally a big animal lover but I can't stand those dogs.

Hold on there, you liberal freak. I've recently heard that some dogs, and particularly the more upper-class ones, have been subjected to grooming ...

Do tell us why. I have two dogs that meet that description.

They won't be yours Giles. I suppose there's no bad dogs, just bad owners, but those 2 just make my flesh creep & he don't help either. Let's them crap everywhere and never cleans up after them. There's a part of the churchyard up the Eccy road that isn't used anymore,he let's them dump all in there and says there int any need clean it up cos no-one goes there now. And when he int leavin his dogs muck around for other folk walk on,he's chuckin it over his garden fence into the empty garden next door.

Yep, not mine.

The breed are really nice natured, but they do poo a lot, I put this down to their small stomachs and bodies.
