There is a blood doning session currently on at the Rangers. I've just popped in and let them have an armful. There are other sessions available. I'm sure there's quite a few bleeders in the forum.

that happened to me last time i had blood taken at the hospital.. i'm quite used to blood tests by now, so they don't really bother me, but on this occasion as soon as the needle went in a strange sensation shot down my arm and caused my fingers to twitch spasmodically.. i had what i can only describe as painful pins & needles in that arm for at least a week afterwardsFlorence said:Hb fine but needle went in skewy and hit, what I believe from the unimaginable pain, to be a nerve.
And me, A rh positive, much better class of blood than the common O's, glad you mentioned it, I'd forgotten.Gramaisc said:There's another Blood Donor session at the Rangers on Sunday 30th - 10:00 to 12:15 & 13:45 to 15:30.
They've requested a new supply of my special top-grade fluid, it's A+, you know. There's none better, apparently.
I agree with that, an excellent idea. Us normal O's dont want the freakish genetic mutants that are A's, B's and worst of all AB's in with us pure breds.Gramaisc said:I have requested that they should have special sessions for us A+ élite - I really don't like being in the same room as the Os, but that's this modern haematological correctness for you.
The technical term is 'more highly evolved', I think you'll find.....djstaffs said:the freakish genetic mutants
