Myself, my husband & my son have all passed with Nigel - husband & son passed first time - Nigels great!
Tell Nigel what you failed on when you took your test before - then you will both be able to look at improving those things :) He really is great both with older people (I was 36 when I learnt to drive) & youngsters too - my son was 17 & passed first time. He's very patient (even with me when I constantly got my left & right mixed up... 'the other left'! ) & he's a genuinely nice bloke. I was a very nervous driver & had previously had lessons with a lady instructor who had taught me all sorts of rubbish that I had to unlearn !

Good luck & have fun :)

Just a thought - maybe you don't need a nice instructor, maybe you need somebody that will stress you out like an examiner might?

I only failed the first time as I was stressed by having the examiner in the car! I was so nervous that I reversed into 2 bays in my reverse parking bit, then tried to reverse into an oncoming car when I had to reverse round a corner!

Thank you all for the support and suggestions. I'll call Nigel tomorrow and hopefully he'll be able to help me pass.
I am sure that I didnt fail before for the same mistake, it's just my nerves. I drive very well when I'm not during my test :)

I'm not sure... I had a couple of instructors and one of them, who's name I forget... John something or other.... was a total dick and I hated him. I then switched to Megan's School of Motoring (I'm sure you've seen the MSM car going around), and she was brilliant.
