A friend of mine owns jobecky drums - apparently their drum kits are very good AND they are based in Stafford.

They make drum sets up to order.

I, on the otherhand, don't own a drum set. As a child I was good at filling up milk bottles with different levels of water and using my pencils as sticks. I used to get a noise out of them. Does that count ;)

You should need a licence to buy drums, and only be issued with one if you live in a detached house with four hundred yards between you and your nearest grumpy old neighbour called John

 unless you have an electronic kit then you can play whenever and wherever, but I currently don't.

i've currently got a DW collectors series, which sounds as mint as you imagine. i've got to say yamaha do make gorgeous drum kits (gav who owns magic gardens studios in wolves ahs one that sounds sooo good). i've also had the good fortune to play a number of custom drum companies kits and can thoroughly reccomend the creation drum company from new york

oh, and brady are obviously the bollocks. if only i could afford just a snare!

Worst part about them... The price. £800 + just for a freaking snare! A guy I know uses one, could wake the dead up it's that F***in loud!

oh yeah, brady are ridiculously expensive, but there is a reason...

and DW kits aren't that expensive if you shop around. I picked mine up for 900 quid off ebay, second hand, mint condition with cases

really? NICE :D

at the moment I'm just trying to save up money to get a new kit either DW or go custom and have my own unique design wrapped around it

yeah, just get yourself on ebay and keep a look out. you have to be patient though, took me around a month, but i nearly got a pork pie kit, orange county, and another DW, just had to stick it out and have a maximum price. if you're buying from new a custom kit could get expensive, but why not have a word with jobecky, i've heard good things about them before. and if you want a custom wrap have a word with pimpco
