Ok, if you could pick three famous people, living or dead that you would invite to either (or both) a dinner party, or a drinking session, who would it be? Mine, after some thought.

Dinner Party - John Lennon, Joe Strummer & Howard Marks.
Drinking Sesh - Keith Moon, Ollie Reed & Johnny Vegas

DP:- Plato, Jesus, Mary Seacole.
DS:- Spike Milligan, Ghandi, Caroline Ahern. (I think they are, were, non drinkers or reformed alcoholics and that way, I would for once, not be drunk under the table! I am a lightweight when it comes to boozing, a couple of pints and I'm out of it! Cheap night out though!

This is really difficult….i’d like to meet myself as a teenager for a drink but don’t know if that would be possible in this world of imagination…so, here goes!

Dinner : Carl Rogers, Dalai Lama, Groucho Marx (for much needed laughs?)

Drinks: Layne Staley (former Alice in Chains frontman), Tim (my mate from Kansas who raises a beer for me every week after his gigs over there and whom I have yet to meet), Axl Rose (who wished me happy birthday on myspace a few months ago….hehe!)

In the early days of the Biography Channel we used to read out the evening's names as the potential guests at a dinner party. It was usually five or six innocuous film stars and a serial killer.

dinner would be stephen fry, richard dawkins, and jesus of nazareth.. that would certainly make for interesting conversation, complete with witty reposts and added points for smugness..

i'm really struggling to come up with a good drinking session combination, but jack black would defo be in there.. possibly with kyle gass if i can't come up with any others.. i want to say dave grohl as well, but i'm reluctant to make it an all american bunch..

Nice one Gramaisc.:heyhey:

Kim Basinger, Meryl Streep, Emilia Clarke (and dragons :heyhey:), Jodie Comer (who would deal with any obnoxious behaviour from the guests !!,) Julianne Moore.

OK OK, I'll admit, this is a sort of a fantasy list … shit people, what's life without fantasies (also within the scope of the thread title ?) I might get more serious in some later post, currently far beyond the purple horizon (like I said, it's f****** fantasy,)

By the way, I should ask … does this thread include fictional characters, because that opens a whole new dimension. (Captain Jack Sparrow comes to mind, to say absolutely nothing of Ripley of the Starship Nostromo.) :haw:
