I'm just taking a look at punbb, as I want to use it on a site I'm doing. I notice on this site, we have things like upcoming events on the left. I can't see this as a standard option, is it a plugin? I'm off to look now, but figured someone here would know!

Any tips on setting this up would be appreciated, only just installing it but if you can think of any problems I may encounter I'd like to hear about them!

Stuff like the Private Message system, the navigation links down the side, Upcoming Events, etc. aren't part of the standard PunBB installation. To get those, you have to edit the code directly and add bits in to give you new functionality.

I have very limited PHP knowledge, but still managed to customise this place quite a bit, mainly using modifications from PunRes

Out of interest, don't suppose you know the name of the upcoming events one you used?
