Just been advised on this so thought I would pass on:
Don't normally post these things as they are usually spam / chain mails, but in this instance it appears it was the actual person I spoke to that it had happened to, also wasn't on an e-mail either so not going to be a chain mail type thingy...
Just a heads folks up that there appears to be car fuel thieves in Stafford at the moment.
My Vauxhall Zafira was drained of about a ¼ tank of Diesel this morning whilst my wife was parked at Sainsbury’s.
Whoever did it, forced and damaged the external locking fuel-flap. The internal cap didn’t have a lock… and the culprit has thrown it away.
If your car is similar to mine it may be worth investing a locking cap.
