Garra Rufa Fish Pedicure in Stafford?

Hi... just some words... I hate to scare people especially since it's offered by a local establishment...

I'm afraid the fish spa's are taking a beating at the moment ... they have been proven to spread disease ... I don't want to scare monger so I'll recommend you Google it yourself and make an informed decision! Our own HPA is/has been doing an in-depth study!

I have had it done in Malaysia and it was a great treatment ... but I may have been wary of doing it had the (potential) health issues been known at the time!

My husband used one of these fish places, it was totally pointless. After his feet had dried off they looked and felt no smoother.

Sorry people but hold on to your cash :)

I've been. It wasn't expensive, my feet felt AMAZING afterwards and I'm still *coughsplutter* in the land of the living ;)

If you look at the first page you will see that your rats are in direct competition with spaniels.

Now i like spaniels, but i also like rats...

Fish eating flesh, surely a piranha would do a better job, you may have to get your feet out a bit quick,
but that could be cheaper and more efficient.

Rats vs Spaniels eh? Well I certainly dont have to follow my rats around with a scented poop bag and then carry it half a mile to the nearest bin!
Anyone with particularly gnarly feet who would like to offer one foot to rats and another to a spaniel and assess the results?
It could make for an interesting christmas!

I'll have to go and take look later, even though I like fish, I wouldn't want them nibbling at my feet, they might catch something from my feet :D

How do I edit this?
There is one up the narrow bit of Martin Street beside Starbucks. It opened November-ish I'd guess. There was no sign of life between Christmas and New Year but I'd guess they'd be open again as of today...

i think this is the one im on about, i could see it out of the window in starbucks a few saturdays ago. Im not sure i would like a load of fish noshing on my toes, especially not if i have to pay £10 for it. this is the one on eastgate street - http://www.feetiesfishspa.co.uk/treatments.html
