GoClever R75

Stupidly purchased a GoClever R75 thinking it was a good cheap tablet. Nothing wrong with it, but could be a bit better.
Anybody know how to root it ... never rooted or jailbroken anything before! First of all, what would rooting it give me?

Looked at rooting devices a couple of times and chickened out on both occasions as the risk of bricking them looked too high. Almost all the stuff on the GoClever R75 looks to be in assorted Eastern European languages but this might make sense.

I was going to Go all Clever and post something along the lines of the oddity of a pig asking for advice on rooting.

But then i thought that i probably shouldn't.

And then i found myself doing it anyway.

Is there a particular reason you need to root it? May be worth looking for custom roms?

I did the same, bought a cheap tablet that is now never used. Got a nexus 7 instead, love it.

Don't know why I want to root it ... maybe it is a challenge from someone who is not au fait in doing this. Will I be making a big mistake?
I should have saved my pennies and got a Nexus 7 or saved even more and got an iPad!
