Hello all!

Sitting at my desk with my graphics tablet rolling around in the final throes of death beside me.

Anyone recommend a star purchase for the price? I'm getting a new mid range Wacom for work but want something under £150 for home so I can work on some more interesting/freelance material. I would like a more expensive one but boring adult things such as bills keep getting in the way.

Cheers muchly people. ;)

the only one i've ever read positive reviews about is the Wacom Intuos range, but they're probably a bit out of your range..

£217 for the Intuos3 A5
£179 for the Intuos3 A6

looks like some serious kit, and by the sounds of things you're already familiar with them!

Am getting Intuos A5 at work. :)

I could always save up for the Cintiq - salivate just thinking about it. I've got a tenner at the mo - just another £2139.00 to go. :(

I saw one of the Cintiq's demoed at an Adobe roadshow last year. I was horrified when the guy showing it off started thumping it. Literally laying in to it, then smacked it about a bit with anything he could find. Not a mark on it!!! Have wanted one ever since - a piece of kit that will survive my having a paddy when I've ballsed something up again.

I was curious as to whether anyone had been pleasantly suprised by a budget/non-wacom model. I've heard mixed reviews on the the Trusts. Will give one a go me thinks.

But I want to draw pictures. :?:

Forgive me - it's Friday, I'm in a silly mood and I think I might be loosing my mental health.
:help:

Seriously though - thanks for the rec.
