I wonder how much the previous owners made in this deal. It's in the hands of the council now - https://www.staffordbc.gov.uk/news/regeneration-stafford-gets-boost-council-buys-shopping-centre

Gerrawaywiyer.I’m led to believe this scenario is replicated across the country
Almost like it has been planned……
Hopefully restored to a shopping centre with actual shops in it. There must be enough people in Stafford now given how many crappy new housing estates the council have allowed in the past 10 years. The funding from central government is a use-it-or-lose-it thing, and is ringfenced
Something will get done

I bet people in Stafford were saying the same thing when your house was built.Hopefully restored to a shopping centre with actual shops in it. There must be enough people in Stafford now given how many crappy new housing estates the council have allowed in the past 10 years.
Older houses are much better, the current lot are absolutely horrendous quality.I bet people in Stafford were saying the same thing when your house was built.
We follow the middle sons 'snagger' on social media, absolutely hysterical!Older houses are much better, the current lot are absolutely horrendous quality.
We need more houses, but we don’t need them with every corner cut, stuff not properly wired, leaky pipes, etc
“Snagger” as a job shouldn’t need to exist
Far more importantly than that, we need them with developer funded adequate infrastructure to cope with the extra traffic, more schools and doctors surgery's to cope with the additional population. And sited in areas that aren't going to increase flooding for the rest of us.We need more houses, but we don’t need them with every corner cut, stuff not properly wired, leaky pipes, etc

But for some reason, the corrupt fuckmonkeys that are Stafford Borough Council, couldn't give a stuff about any of that, as long as they get additional council tax to fritter away.
They build more houses than road capacity and parking. The buses are useless and so nobody wants to try to get to the shops.
Yesterday the first bus to Uttoxeter and the last one back, with me as the only passenger, were both on time. They build more houses than road capacity and parking. The buses are useless and so nobody wants to try to get to the shops.
Residential I believe. That was the plan but it may have changed.
I don't see how that will work as I thought residential needed natural light?Residential I believe. That was the plan but it may have changed.
