Where exactly were they on Sandon Rd? I did drive that way expecting to see them and didn't

On the green behind the shell garage, right next to Peter James Court. They were parked up on the path that cuts through there.

I may pop down and see if there's any 'evidence'.

Just been. There's two bin-bags on the corner of the small 'wooded' area in the centre, a piece of foam rubber (that could well have come off a load on the way to the Tip) and the grass hasn't quite stood up fully in the tyre-tracks. Other than that, a cursory inspection revealed nothing of note.

Any sign of "Crusty Jugglers"?

I thought that was where it must have been. No distinct tyre marks were obvious as I drove past, hence my question :)

Very sorry, in that case I welcome our tax unburdened brothers with open arms.

That's not the point though - nobody is asking you to welcome them, just to watch your p's & ikey's.

Take this Malky Mackay malarkey - it's one thing to be annoyed at having a Korean player he didn't want signed to the team, quite another to then call him a 'fkn chinky'.

I don't suppose it's that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.

Not sure this is exactly the right thread, but I can't find any other on the travellers, mods feel free to move as required.

Does anyone have anything definitive on the new tinker site meant to be happening by the tip? Took me for a little walk this morning and found, whilst not an area of outstanding natural beauty, this area is certainly a wonderfully wild urban oasis up behind the trees. Some of it is obviously old tip land, the ploughed bit. but walk further on and it's a very wonderful wildlife rich quiet area.

Had a chat to a man while there who said that the plans for the gypsy site have now been dropped. can anyone confirm or deny this? Having wandered round the area it would be a massive shame to allow it to be spoilt/built on.

Apparently some were spotted on the isobel trail near the tip, dunno how they'd get vans down but were clearing a space and a young kid was messing about on a quad bike.
