I know its a big early to talk about Halloween, but...

Does anybody know if there is going to be any Halloween haunt this years? i hear some rumors floating about, but not quite sure :hmm: I wish there will be something for Halloween. something similar to the Hebbie Jebbie night at the castle. Why did they stop that, does anybody know?

It looks like there won't be a Halloween event at Shugborough this year - which is probably not that surprising in the circumstances.

So the answer would seem to be no. :(

For the last couple of years (or possibly more?) there have been, not entirely sure how to describe them as have not been on one myself, ghost-story-town-tour type affairs - reports upon them have been 'mixed', though i haven't heard enough reports to consider it a serious study sample.

Probably not the sort of thing you have in mind, but possibly as good as it gets in terms of what you are looking for? If i remember (which is quite an 'if' but you never know) i'll post details when they become available.

If you like, i can look up the site i've got in my favourite of a group that hold ghost hunt/watch all nighter type things? They don't do Stafford but they do do Lichfield as well as a lot of other places, including Alton Towers. Mosely Old Hall possibly still do Halloween night stuff.
