I've been away since before New Year and hardly connected to the internet at all.
Glam, glad that you got spoilt on your birthday and Staffordjas, I hope that your husband eventually gets round to taking you out for yours!

I've been away and hardly connected to the internet at all.
How did you cope?
Well strangely enough, after an initial wobble, I managed just fine.
The internet on the ship was so dire that it wasn't worth paying for.
And anyway on sea days (not docked in port) there was so much to do in the way of fun stuff, quizzes, shows, various talks ( we went to three talks by a retired detective inspector about murder investigations, fascinating stuff).
There were dance classes, deck parties, art talks, treasure hunts, and so on. Or just sit and chat on the deck with new friends.
On port days where we were docked, we had an early breakfast then we we off the ship taking a local bus or local tour guide and getting to know each island.
I'm not the sort to just lie on a beach, I need to really see a place.
Anyway, not much time for social media. After a day ashore it was back on the ship then full on entertainment.
Dress up, down to one of the bars for proesscco, a meal, a show, another bar, another show.
We've come home very exhausted but very very happy.
