Just found out about this site as a friend told me about it and recommended that i posted about our lost cat,

We have lost our Maine Coon cross cat about a week ago in the Tixall Road / Littleworth area of Stafford. He is a much loved house cat that has not been outdoors before and is extremely friendly and is missed by us all, especially the dog who misses his company in the day !!

He is slightly larger than a regular cat and has a massive bushy tail, He is grey, white and black in colour these are the best photos we have, if you see him please can you let me know.

I am offering a reward for his safe return,

Its very distressing.
I once lost a cat for a week, turned out he had got locked in next doors coal buncker.
Didnt recognise him when he escaped, but apart from a bit of weight loss and being filthy dirty he was ok.
Hope you are reunited soon.

I read about a tortoise which was found recently, something like 35 years after it went missing. The woman who had lost it as a child, discovered it when clearing out the basement in her recently deceased father's home. Experts think he survived by eating termites. To think, all those careful notes I made on tortoise care from Blue Peter, all the books I borrowed from the library - who knew they were so indestructible? Or indeed that I would never be allowed to have one. Too 'messy' apparently.
