Hi i have the above it comes with a microphone that you stick near the tv , and a wire you trail around the outskirts of the room, it is only a thin wire and it is pretty long, it also comes with a box you hook it all up to with a volume switch and mic switch of you have two mics.
I don't want to make money off it because it was my dads and if it can benefit someone else then that's good by me.
My dad had a tv in his bedroom and the neighbours used to complain about how loud it was and it was very loud so we got this loop and he went to having his TV at full volume to so quite you could not hear it at all standing out side his room, they make that much of a difference.
You will need a hearing aid that has the Loop function most NHS ones these days do, if it does you will have to have it activated by making an appointment with your Audiologist.
Free to collect if anyone is interested, just rely here or PM me.

That’s a really nice thought that someone else would be able to use this, well done for making this a free give away. I remember when loops were new and the theatre and the cinema had them. My daughter was little then and she used to turn her body worn hearing aids to the T position to pick up the loop. This would be suitable for anyone who has a traditional hearing aid - not sure if post oral aids pick up a loop they probably do now, technology is so advanced- try contacting the deaf association in stoke if no one shows an interest on the forum.

Were just waiting to be transferred from Nottingham cochlear implant team to Birmingham team - my daughter want to try to start to use her implant again but she will have to go and be remapped as her threshold levels have lowered.
