You could try the local shops but would advise you find out how much something is worth first before you sell it. I have had an enormous 45s and 33 collection over the years dating back a bit . The main thing people look for are rare pressings or first cuts . Frequently artists recoded their original material on small record labels before they made it big and then re recorded them on the big label. Obviously the first ones are rarest and therfore more valuable.
another thing to look for are things like picture disks or all them odd blue, yellow, pink whatever vinyl cuts which can still be worth money .I also wouldnt get rid of them if you can find any room for them as they will gain value the longer you hang on to them .
