Yes it was the Stafford 20 today. My OH was running it, but standing up by the Uni freezing my butt off, I did wish he'd take up cricket instead, where supporting him would involve sitting in the sunshine with a G&T.

Ah! It was not the ideal spectating weather, was it? I did go past, with my heater on full, and Mr B'Stard in the car, too - and we did remark that we were actually slightly more in awe of the tenacity of the spectators, rather than of the runners themselves.

I might admit to nipping back to the car and putting the heater on a few times during the race. It was perishing!
