Something a bit strange about this. Who is making the "put to sleep" threat?

I read about their non-destruct policy earlier when I looked them up ,and wondered about the threat to put this poor dog to sleep.

I hope something can be done to help her.

I'm not in the position to help at the moment, but certainly got me thinking about fostering sometime in the future .

I would like to know what the facts of the matter are. No answer from the phone number given and the other one advertised on the website was unobtainable. The story doesn't fit with Pet Welfare's stated policy and I would be surprised if a vet would be prepared to put a healthy animal to sleep when there are rescue organisations that can foster and re-home. It isn't clear what the facts are, but if a dog is in harm's way then it needs to be taken to a place of safety.

Also why hasn't Lisseylee who asked for help been back on to check for replies?

Surely if you were that concerned to post in the first place you would be logging on quite often to see if people had replied and them to thank them for the help with contact numbers.

I have logged on a midnight to find out about the dog and yet the person who made the request hasn't given an update.

I also think it odd that an animal charity would put a healthy dog down.

The more I think about this the more uncomfortable I feel. Something is not right.

This was going around facebook the other day, apparently pet welfare cant take the dog as they're full as are all the other local places - and if there is no home it will be put down.

I don't know if any of this is true or not - it's just what was being said!
