I can't believe no one has mentioned possibly the least funny program that BBC3 has churned out to date and that's out of quite a stacked field of contenders. How this shit manages to have been on air for so long is beyond me. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: 2 Pints of Lager

If anyone says they like it, I'm coming round with my killing stick.
someone posted on here last week saying how excited they were that the new series was starting lol.. i couldn't believe there was a "new" series - i know it's on bbc3 all the bastard time but i assumed that was just them repeating the existing 100 series over and over and over and over again..
Found it. When are you going round? Can we watch?

@ cookie_monster - very very kind thoughts, and thanks for the offer, however....

LOOKING SORTED GUYS! My wonderful wife went on a mission today, borrowed a steamer and has completely stripped the walls! Plaster doesn't look half as bad as I thought it would, and my mate can squeeze in the little bit of plastering this weekend for us.

Wife + friend + sister = painters. Myself = beer shopper.
Hence, wife + friend + sister + myself = SOLUTION!!!!

;) I am the master of cunning ;)

EDIT:- My last comment reminds me... new series of Two Pints starts this Sunday guys - just incase any fans amongst us hadn't realised. :)
Could combine this with all the 'new job parties'.

Love Catherine Tate, love Little Britain, the little I have seen of Horne and Cordon, love it.....

Only seen a tiny bit of Gavin and Stacey and looked ok.....

What about Peep Show? Got the box set for Xmas and only watched one... looked funny but not really got into it.

I didn't really get into Phoenix Nights or The Office until the 2nd series of each and then had to go back as they are both legendry....

Still not watched Extras and got S1 and S2 on DVD for Xmas

Unfussed by Peep Show, although I've got a couple of series of it somewhere; David Mitchell makes me want to put a brick through the television.

i would definitely recommend peep show.. one of the few comedies of recent years i would make a point of staying in to watch.. like all the best programs, it only really becomes excellent once you've watched it for a bit and the characters start to flesh themselves out..

mark (david mitchell's character) is my hero..

edit: read about it here!

Oddly, its the other bloke that makes me want to go out and buy a telly just to put a brick through.

For those prepared to risk Monquey's death threat, there is a one hour Two Pints special currently on iPlayer. It's got Lauren Laverne in, if you need to use that as an excuse.

At no point did I say that I intended to watch this myself, I merely presented the facts and was prepared to let others make up their own minds about the balance of risks involved. But it has got Lauren Laverne in.
