The points system does indeed have its flaws. It took me quite a while to work out who was cuffying me every day at one time. I may have cuffied once, but I'm not even sure of that, and I try to make it clear ( usually ) when I feel that a positive point is deserved. The anonymity aspect can lead to a feeling of cliqueyness. There are those who treat their cuffies as a mark of steadfastness in adversity.

Well said. Another forum I'm on abandoned a similar system for pretty much the same reasons.

Don't worry. I cuffied him (personally i think its a her) to maintain the balance. I personally really like the Stafford Points system. It's good fun. People don't generally tell people or announce when and why they cuffy do they? They more make a point when they agree/find something funny/ say thank you for a good deed and then make it clerar they have a point. Which is much more gratifying for both parties. I like it.

I just Cuffy shoes as often as I remember, occasionally other people because sometimes it just isn't worth the effort replying to the sh!t some people put on here.

Occasionally I give people Skill too, like when someone agrees with me - but that doesn't happen very often.

Minus 17 as I type.... If I was bovvered I wouldn't still be here, but I do think they are devisive as just helps to turn the place into a school playground popularity contest. I hold lots of non-mainstream minority type views so I don't care about popularity, but I think it does affect how people engage on the forum or put them off altogether.

I don't know if it was coincidence but my points started plummeting after someone posted they never saw drains being emptied so I mentioned I had very recently.... Obviously I also disagree with the "poor hard done by Stafford motorist" whingers who, erm, aren't hard done by.

Must be about minus 20 by now....

I understand the original idea, but they seem to have turned into kiss my arse points and it does the forum no favours.
