I wasn't really fussed about spec as it was for a kids birthday and just wanted one quickly at a preloved price. Sorted now though.

Got the new nexus 7 myself, love it

I bought my wife a Nexus 7 last year and she is really happy with it. It seems a nice piece of kit but a 7" screen is a little small for me though.

I guess I need mine to be easily thrown in a bag/coat pocket so any bigger would be an issue for me. The new screen res is amazing though, and its a lot snappier. The new ipad mini 2 is looking like a similar resolution too if rumours are to be believed.

12 inch iPad soon and there is a 20 inch Pansonic tablet to keep people happy.
