iPhone 5 screen repair ?

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get an iphone 5 screen replaced in Stafford ? I thought the guy in the guildhall centre did it but apparently he only does 3/3gs/4/4s. Not 5.

I have used him for a repair on a 4S. Sent Friday, fixed Saturday, returned Monday, received Tuesday. Brilliant service using genuine Apple parts - unlike a LOT of "market stall" type phone repairers.

I have also seen a lot of very complimentary comments on Twitter from people who have used MacFixer for repairs.

And a piece of advice when it comes to iPhone repairs. Repair cheaply - repair twice.

£35 for a retina display. Not a chance. Why would you put a cheap screen on an expensive top of the range phone?

And it looks to me that you would have to transfer parts from the original screen onto the replacement. It says in the description that the Home button cover isn't included nor are a set of instructions!

That's fairly standard to be fair. Anyone buying items like this should be a confident repairs person. After all, laptop screens, hard drives, motherboards etc. don't come with any. I also think that by including instructions is like saying "anyone can do it" to the point where they could be held liable then if things went wrong.

EDIT - He actually states this which confirms what I've just put above....
