A few posts under my belt
Italian Masters is confirmed! The car show for all Italian vehicles debuts on Sunday 14th June 2015 at Seighford Airfield, Stafford where there will be 5.5 Acres of tarmac full of beautifully styled Italian metal! Our experience with past car shows including Runwaydisplay will ensure our guests have an action packed and fun day! The event will be one of the largest Italian car shows in the UK, the venue has been chosen as it provides ample space to accommodate hundreds of cars, exhibitions, trade stands and on site events. It is easily accessible being just 10 minutes from the M6 and there is a small children's play area. All children under the age of 12 are free!

Italian Masters aims to have the most diverse and exciting Italian cars on display. We have joined forces with Alfabook Online Community where their members will be in attendance displaying some of the best kept Alfa Romeos in the United Kingdom.

The Vehicles!
Visitors can expect to see a vast range of cars including Classic, Vintage and modern vehicles from the likes of Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat together with some lesser known companies. We encourage all clubs and individuals who wish to display their car to put a Specification sheet in their window and where possible invite people to have a look inside the car. After all we are all proud of our vehicles so lets show them off! There will be an area designated for other vehicles which will include Commercials and Motorbikes.

For the Kids

Motor shows can sometimes be tiring for little ones so we have a series of activities and events spread throughout the venue. The Spacebus will be at the show; an action packed kids play barn on wheels! What’s In The Spacebus? Split Level Play Frame, Ball Pond, Slide from Top to Bottom of Bus, Spooky Lunar Caves, Spinning Pole, Vertical Rollers, Cargo Nets, Ball Pits & Up and Overs, Hanging Snakes – Biff ‘n’ Bash, Disco Lights, Music and Sound Mat, Video Screen/DVD Player . Check out the link to find out more!

A Childrens Go-Kart circuit operated by Go-Kart Party will be located immediately in front of the cafe where four budding Lewis Hamilton's can race it out between them on go karts specifically made for Children between the ages of 4 and 10 vehicles. There will be other activities for children to get involved in from the moment they enter the show and a small children's play area is located next to the public car park for those wanting to get away from the cars. A full list of rides will be available closer to the event, please subscribe on the home page for further updates.

Car Clubs - Introducing 'Alfabook'

Alfabook was conceived by a group of enthusiasts on the 13th June 2014 after an online chat on Facebook. What Started off as a challenge to see how many Alfa owners they could get in the one group chat ended with 24 in the conversation! They collectively agreed that there was a clear opportunity to start a new UK based group. The majority of generic Facebook groups are based in other countries and are predominantly foreign spoken. There is no shortage of Alfa Romeo media pages but none offer the interactivity that the community group model offers.

In the short space of just under six months Alfabook boasts over 1000 members and has hundreds of years of combined experience with mechanics, body shop and detailing expertise. More importantly the membership shares the unprecedented enthusiasm and passion for Alfa Romeo. Alfabook has quickly become one of the most active Alfa Romeo groups on Facebook and is in prime position with the imminent re-launch of the Alfa Romeo brand. The Italian Masters car show coincides with Alfabook’s 1st birthday. Will be a great opportunity for us all to get together …..

Trade Village

With over 30 pitches available within our trade village there should be a stall for everyone! The village will house companies selling Car Care products, decals, clothing and car parts. There will also be ‘non car related’ stalls for the family looking for a bit of retail therapy! If you are a trader then why not be part of our trade village? Please click here for further information. There will be a full list of traders by the end of February 2015.

Fab, remind me to close my Windows so I'm not forced to listen to the monotonous drone that's been forced upon me.
Never understood how this place ever got planning permIssion, slap bang between two villages with so many people opposing the planning application. I guess it was clear by the level of work and the fact they had started trading prior to planning permission being granted that they were pretty sure they would get it regardless of the number of people who fought to block it. A cynic might have thought it was a done deal...

Thank you for your comments everyone. Just to clarify this is a static car show with no cars racing or driving on the runway. The event is organised by www.midlandscarshows.co.uk and not Driveme.net who organise the driving experience days.

In this weeks Express and Star newspaper there will be an Advert and discount voucher!

I would go up for a few hours but I think we have family visiting this weekend. Pity as I still have a front nearside wishbone arm for a 156 hanging about in the garage which I could dispose of at any auto-jumble. :D
