Hi All

I have a list of things I need to buy and am finding some hard to come by or they're really expensive, if anyone knows where I could buy any of this stuff cheap-ish that'd be great. I need:

Jerry Cans
Jet Washer
Hedge Trimmer
Overalls
Ear defenders
Petrol strimmer
Petrol Lawnmower

I'd be grateful for any help at all here, thanks! :)

i have a petrol mower going cheap just give me chance to give it a service as been sat in the garden a while. Other stuff try gumtree and ebay. But avoid cheap petrol strimmers the spools seem to melt easy and it gets exspensive at £20 a go.

My garden currently looks like downtown Khandahar, what started as a simple pond extension has now decimated most of my garden! Unfortunately every time I have a few hours spare it rains :(

It's taken a while, but two 20l "army style metal" jerry cans for sale in today's Newsletter.

£15 each or £25 for the pair.

I missed this. Jerry cans on the tool stall in the market - plastic, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Can't remember the price, but in various sizes. Worth thinking of different colours for four- and two-stroke.

I bought a basic jet washer from B&Q a couple of years back about £25 if memory serves. No whistles, no bells but plenty powerful enough for 99% of jobs.

If you can persuade people to put up with it smelling like the Gents' at Newmarket, then water the area to be jet-washed with a Jeyes Fluid solution a few days before the jetting is to occur - makes quite a difference - and, if the slabs are edged in gravel, then an upside-down piece of plastic guttering with your foot on it, held down over the gravel, makes it possible to clean right up to the edge without spraying stones everywhere.
