Did you vote in the AV referendum? Quite a bit more than half of you didn't. Not half of you @Carole , that would be patently absurd, but the statistical half of you didn't even bother...

There ain't no shame in it all. Just interested is all. Emmeline might have felt some shame in it, but i don't.

Politics is SO tiresome after all.

So how did you vote in the AV referendum?

I think that I mentioned somewhere before that I dont discuss my views on politics or who I voted for or who I intend to vote for.


However, I do believe that unless one has voted one cant complain about the result so I always vote.

As you say, its because of Emmaline that I can vote.

Many years ago my better half was helping out in an election and observing at the count. One of her comments was that some of those who spoiled their ballot papers did so with a very large X that covered the whole paper. The party that happened the have the candidate in the middle line of the paper were trying to claim the spoiled ballots were really votes for them
