I didn't think that would have stopped him!He lost his seat
Kept the big chair
For now
Gavin is coming so don’t worry
I've just seen that on my drive home after work.Just driven over the SWAR and back of Sainsburys is flooded so guess it may peak tomorrow.
Is that really a reason to close the rest of the park? somewhat of an overeaction
You should know the answer to that question - people can't be trusted to be sensible. Is that really a reason to close the rest of the park? somewhat of an overeaction
The side without kids stuff was open, just had chains up saying no access to the lower bits, but the kids area was completely closed. Is that really a reason to close the rest of the park? somewhat of an overeaction
20th January, 2021.Don’t worry guys, Theo specifically asked Boris about flooding ages ago and he even knew about Sandon Road
I’m sure they’ll sort it any day now
She isn't though, is she. Anybody with a depth of local knowledge knows it's unlikely to be fixed as the problems are way deeper and she probably knows that, so passes off as "making a great effort!"20th January, 2021.
"I have every sympathy for the residents of Stafford who have been affected by flooding and for everybody who has been affected by flooding in the latest bout. What I can say to my hon. Friend is that the Environment Agency is working hand in glove with her local authority and other partners to find a particular solution to the flooding in Sandon Road and Sandyford Brook."
That was Boris, who apparently personally knows about Sandon Road which wasn’t even mentioned in the questionShe isn't though, is she. Plus Crooked Bridge RoadDid my shop at Aldi at around 9 this morning. It was almost eerie driving onto a half empty car park as people obviously weren't chancing the rear half with water rising.
With today's and tomorrow's (THU/FRI) plus Saturday's forecast I'd think Sandon Road and Kingsmead will add to the endless diversions and inconveniences around the town.
Disappointing, I had hired a punt this afternoon and now will have to cancel. The bi-driectional causeway has re-established now, for the time being, although the various 'road closed' signs, that arrived in the middle of the flood, are still around, but someone has moved the yellow plastic fences just enough to allow vehicles to transit the site.
Amen to thatThere is planned to be a drop-in session at the Christadelphians' Sheridan Hall on Tuesday November 14th from 4pm to 7pm, where there will be an "opportunity to explain progress on seeking a solution".
