Wanted Laptop

I am in the market for a laptop of some sort - but like Donny, i am very much out of my element.

It needs to be

1. wifi compatible
2. be ok for gaming
3. preferably be able to play cd/dvds
4. erm
5. would be used primarily for internet based shenanigans
6. and minecraft
7. erm
8. largeish keyboard would be sort of favourable but not a deal-clincher
9.
10. whatever happened to basil?

2nd hand would be fine, new would be considered if worth the money - any thoughts as to

a) machines worth consideration
b) machines you have that you might want to sell to me
c) whatever happened to basil
d) where to buy from new if that is what is best

Good question. Personally i class gaming as watching the other person in the house who plays games playing games.

He is currently addicted to minecraft, but i don't think we need anything too supercharged on the gaming front.
