Just heard about 70 agency staff are being axed at Perkins, not good

Not good at all, but not uncommon. Normally they seem to do it just before Christmas.

It's very common for Perkins to recruit heavily and then layoff people during lean spells.

My cousin has worked for Perkins for a nearly a year now and is still not on a contract.
