The French are odd, do odd things

But they seem happier

Have considerably more space

Eat well

Are not obsessed with the US

Quite so much

Sent a reminder to Lefroy that his job is to represent his constituents, that and nothing else will do over Brexit. His constituents voted leave and he must therefore follow their wishes

Suggest others also remind him of this

Thanks for the reminder.

As a result I've also emailed him and reminded him that I voted to remain and he should therefore follow my wishes.

Jeremy Lefroy supports Theresa May's 'deal' and will, almost certainly, vote for it. In the event that a majority support the 'deal', then you will have to decide if it meets your expectations.

And this is exactly what is wrong with English politics today...well one of the things anyway!! It should not matter what Lefroy thinks or doesn't think, or what his opinion is, he's in parliament to represent the wishes of the people who voted for him. His constituency voted to leave the EU! I'm aware that means not every one did!

Well May's deal is going to be as completely shit as no deal so does it really matter.

Let's call the whole thing off...

But then, in a subsequent general election, the 'people of Stafford' voted for him and his policies. Which should take precedence? The first vote, or the more recent vote?

A similar scenario was repeated around the Country. A large number of people voted Leave in a referendum and then promptly voted for a whole bunch of Remain MPs. Let's not just blame the MPs; we, the people, helped create this perfect storm.

To save you time just blame one ex MP

He asked the idiots

The idiots have spoken

That's what happens when you ask idiots to make a decision based on idiotic voices in the idiots heads

Never ask the people anything

Asking the idiots a third time is simply insanity

Bit harsh. I work with some very intelligent people and every single one of them voted leave and could justify their decision with well researched and thought out reasons. Not one of those reasons was immigration or racism. In fact one of the people I work with is Spanish and she said she'd vote leave given the chance! I know this doesn't fit with the narrative of buses and election fraud....

They voted to leave the EU...It's fair to assume their dissatisfaction was, therefore, with our membership of that organisation. The Conservative sold the 'strong and stable' brexit bs very well so got the votes. History will show how that works out! But at the risk of repeating myself, whether an MP is a remainer or not, their job is to represent the wishes of the electorate. There own opinion is irrelevant.....well it should be!!

Then you and your right minded chums will be forever disappointed
