Leave or Remain?

Watched that benedict whassisface film yesterday, was very clever how they identified exactly how to trigger each small group of people then just threw the right lies at them. Immoral, but clever.

We are very fortunate to have such unelected bureaucrats as 'dom' to have such dominion over us - to save us from the dreaded unelected bureaucrats of the EU that we have heard so much about.

I know it's an observation made on QT but I am enjoying parliamentary sovereignty being what Brexit was about - except for when they try to use it.

Ultimately, the last ten years can be chalked up to the fact that a system geared towards only having one thing or another thing making anything in between too complicated is an absolute joke.

And not having an obvious mechanism to cope with it makes it even funnier.

Do you remember voting against making voting more representative? I do, even though i didn't.

But then i didn't vote for the last three lost years either.

Did you ever walk the thought experiment in your mind that in June 2016 the vote was for Remain? Let's say it was 52-48 the other way?

Obviously Farage is saying it's 'unfinished business', but the argument has been put to bed for another 30 years - now the Leave argument can be rightly side-lined and domestic politics can regain centre stage.

Could we have been arguing about homelessness for the last three years? NHS funding in the light of the bollox on the bus? Maybe the largesse that Johnson seems to be willing to bung on law 'n' order now would have been implemented three years ago with the first of the 20,000 police officers actually ready to patrol the streets right now?

The thing you have to remember is that the 31/10 date isn't the end - it isn't even the beginning of the end - it will be nothing but the end of the beginning. The beginning of, at the very least, the next ten + years of news about the fallout of this decision.

If you are bored of Brexit now, just wait to see how a no-deal will push your boredom threshold.

Taking back control.....

Who wears short shorts?

Shorting, or short-selling, is when an investor borrows shares and immediately sells them, hoping he or she can scoop them up later at a lower price, return them to the lender and pocket the difference
