LICENCED TO TRILL

We are very lucky to get a duo of this calibre to perform locally.
ABOUT THE DUO....

They are a little bit classical, a little bit rock and roll, very funny and a whole lot entertaining.

No ordinary duo, they rip up the rule book and entertain with a mix of Verdi, Chopin, Lloyd Webber, Elvis .......and Frank Spencer.

Outrageously brilliant, this unique double act's "operatic cabaret" will lift the evening and make it truly special, a fantastic blend of opera, swing and show songs, sensational voices and good clean fun.

One minuite you will be wiping away tears of emotion, the next song you will be wiping away tears of laughter.

Thanks @proactive for putting that up. Really lovely of you .......:)

Its always a bit difficult to try and get the atmosphere from a You tube video as one cant really create the "live feel".

however if you listen to the audience...they are laughing.....

I do appreciate that they may not appeal to some forum members, but someone who likes easy listening/opera/stuff will enjoy the night.

Its a "Live and Local" show and all the performers are really good at what they do.

The idea of "Live and Local" is to bring quality acts to rural areas.

Did you enjoy it @Carole?

It was a totally successful evening. Such a happy event.

I loved every single second of it.

That you tube video really doesnt do them justice at all, they were totally brilliant and so very funny.
Everyone was practically crying with laughter...then the next song they would blow you away with the quality of their voices.

We had a full house too which always adds to the atmosphere.

I would go and see them again tomorrow.

We put on two shows a year through the Live and Local scheme, we try and do something different every time, we have always been really pleased with the acts.

Next show March 2016

Enjoying a drop of red.
It was indeed a good evening. Whilst not really my cup of tea, it was much, much better than I expected and I rather enjoyed it. Mrs P and her friend thought it was brilliant and like you, would go again tomorrow.

@proactive .....you came to the show!

I cant believe you were there. When did you buy your ticket?

I am trying to work out now who you are. Where were you sitting?

Were you too shy to come and say hello?

@proactive

I have narrowed you down and nearly have you worked out.

As far as I aware there were only two men who arrived with two ladies.

I am just trying to guess which of those men you might be.

I did not arrive with only two ladies. We arrived first and the current Mrs P's friend and her partner arrived a bit later :)
