URGENT NOTICE:

Due to the amount of rain overnight and this morning, large parts of the car park field is unusable.

The useable part of the car park is now full..., so we advise that anyone planing to drive to Stafford Castle today finds alternative parking.

There is parking available in Stafford town centre at the railway station and the new riverside car park!

Please let others know. Thanks and apologies for inconvenience.

I had a fantastic time!

Good company and good music!

I really enjoyed the bands this year - some new and different local artists!

I was gobsmacked by the police presence - as we were leaving there was a line of police cars backing from the gates all the way to the entrance - what was all the fuss about?

Son went and had a great time as well. He showed me a video which showed the line of police cars all down the road. He said there were some idiots lobbing bottles around. One hit the side of sons head, hurt him but luckily didn't smash.

Never been, usually doing something else, this year the something else was subjecting two small dogs to a 10 mile walk, but other times it's because it's on a Sunday and I like a drink, but the idea of work the next day discourages me.

There may be a strong suspicion that, though there was some disorder before, it escalated exponentially thereafter.

From what i've heard it sounds like they didn't handle it very well, but this is based on what may well be biased accounts.
