Enjoy the very best of local live music from noon till 10pm at Stafford Castle on Sunday 13 July. Local bands and singers will be performing on the main stage or chill you out in the acoustic marquee.

Price (All pay on gate): Admission (12+ years) £3, Car Park £5
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

As usual I shall be present, and I am well pleased that the 'No dogs' rule is in place for the 2nd year running. No doubt the sunny weather last year contributed to a bumper attendance however the absence of dogs probably helped swell the numbers in attendance significantly.......

Are you planning on bringing that crazy lady (not me btw) who crashed your set a few years ago?

I'll be there, I get little choice in the matter really, but late night in the acoustic tent is always the best!

Yes it has been known to get under my skin a little. There was one at the Grapes not long before that, that hacked me off even more.

The good news for anyone planning to join us uninvited this time round, is that I've never yet adopted the Keith Richards approach....

Googled a few of these bands and they all seem to play their own stuff. Is that normally the case or is there normally a mix of covers too? Thanks

It's usually a mix, depends on the band - and in the case of .44Pistol, how well you know you old blues songs if you spot it's a cover or not!

Ahh, good point. The footy final is on my radar as well. So I'll be shooting off prematurely.......
