Hi folks,

Not sure where to put this thread so I put it in here.

If any of you are into meditation you may be interested in a Zen Buddhist Meditation group which meets on a tuesday, 7.30-9.30ish at the Quakers building in Stafford. I've tried meditation a few times, but I'm just to highly strung to relax.
I have Bowen Treatment atm, works wonders on my back problems, posture and re-alignment, and sorts my mood swings etc for a month or two. . . til the treatment wears off that is.

Can I do a taster session sometime, or are you signing up to a block thing?

it's basically for folks who are interested in Buddism and meditation in general and we just 'sit' for a good length of time which is harder than you would possibly think....then we do a walking meditation. as it isn't just a meditation class some interest in buddhism of any sort would be an advantage but if that isn't your bag baby then i'd try something else...what is this Bowen Treatment as my back is well and truly knackered too!

I've had all kinds of treatments, drugs and diagnosis over the years this is the only thing that has worked for me. If you know where the Soup Kitchen is in Town, a few doors down from there in a little black and white building and that's where I go. Or at the Holistic Centre in Stone. Not cheap at £30 an hour but I find it money well spent.

if so, marian who runs it is a family friend of lil'lou on here (and did our make up for lil'lou's wedding) and is absolutely lovely, she's such a nice lady.

I have a scouser man do me. But, yes that's the place, ace inside, very well presented, though the whole building is on a slant.
