Enjoying a drop of red.
Does one still have to go through that silly 'membership card' nonsense in order to shop at Matalan?

you can still purchase instore without a matalan card however it's better to have one. when you sign up you will receive discount and instore vouchers every month. plus you get discount/offers at other retailer's. Hope this help's to answer your question :)

Bloody hell! Think we got the msg. Last time I went Matt Alan, it looked like a jumble sale with all the clothes chucked about.

i love matalan - got a cracking suit (jacket, trousers, and waistcost) and a fedora style hat for £104 just last week.. always go there for work shirts, etc..

but yeah, go steady on the posts, guys.. i know it's nice to see your thread near the top, but that won't make more people pay attention, it will just put them off cos it makes you seem a bit desperate! not a criticism - as i say, i love your place - just some friendly advice :)

Following the Rana Plaza building collapse in April this year, your company acknowledged recent production or orders with the factories in the building, and as such you have a responsibility to the victims of this awful tragedy.
The families of those who died and the thousands of workers injured in the Rana Plaza disaster now face a bleak future, without work, trapped in poverty. This disaster was entirely avoidable. If buyers had put in place proper measures to ensure factory safety, no one need have been killed or injured.
I support War on Want’s call for you to pay full compensation for loss of earnings to the families of those who died and the workers injured. Compensation should be agreed with trade unions and should be distributed as soon as possible.
Offers of 'financial assistance' are not enough. Only compensation for loss of earnings can tackle the bleak future these people now face.

Any News on this?
