Has there been an incident at the McDonalds on the Eccleshall Road? Just drove past the police have blocked off the car park.

A few posts under my belt
Staffordshire Police: "We're currently dealing with an incident at McDonalds restaurant on the Eccleshall Road in Stafford.

Police officers, along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service, responded to a report shortly after 8.30pm this evening that a small canister was released inside the venue.

Twelve people, who were all inside the restaurant at the time, were all seen by paramedics at the scene. Two of those people, are expected to be taken to hospital with minor breathing difficulties. Colleagues from the fire service are carrying out initial investigations.

Officers are keen to speak to three people seen leaving the restaurant shortly after the canister was released."

Just been over to the gym and all the emergency services still on site so hope everyone is ok.

The whole area is a hot spot of anti social behaviour, I live just round the corner and all you hear from 8pm till 2am most nights is engines revving, cars racing, tyres screeching and horns blaring. I'm counting the days till I can afford to sell and get away from here.

Some sort of biological weapon probably wouldn't have such a small impact, so presumably it's young people engaging in tomfoolery rather than a terrorism incident. Propane canister maybe?

Propane canister maybe?
More likely a nitrous oxide one -

*ever so slightly bigger than actual size*

- and a huge overreaction.

It's a nightmare version of the sunset caf

Open 24 hours but attracting the tiny penis brigade

The types who spends more on their exhaust system than their rent

With plod permanently parked outside Casa these selfish Twats can feck about all night long with impunity

Oh Gosh I do miss the poor and famous popping in for dripping on toast in the Penkridge haven. Far out man

It is a pity these young people don't have somewhere to hang out instead of Macs. My son would spend time with his friends either at our house or theirs to play on the Xbox so he didn't feel the need to hang around shops etc.

Bunty, who does for a local hotel, says guests complain about the noise too

About time local police and council did something.this is outrageous and a serious incident.

says alot about the way the town and folk are heading. Incidents like these tar populations and residents.

Staffordshire police won't catch them they never catch anyone, especially in Stafford Waste of public funds
