Missing Labrador - Eccleshall Rd area - Dec 2012

My nephew will be posting further details on here but could everyone please look out for a lovely chocolate brown Labrador answering to the name of Duke who went missing from the Eccleshall Road area of Stafford early this morning when he escaped from the back garden. Duke is on medication and cannot walk very far but searches around the area and over Doxey Marshes have proved fruitless. Needless to say the family are really worried about him. The dog is 10 yrs old and is in need of medication! He went missing in the early hours if boxing day morning!! He shouldnt have gone far from the holmcroft region but could be anywhere. He has a brown studded collar and is cery friendly! Please let me know if you have heard anything regarding a missing dog. Thanks

Duke has been found safe and well - obviously he decided to have a little adventure of his own as he was found in Bednall would you believe! He's now getting lots of TLC from all the family - and a new lock on the gate!

Glad he's been found. Bednall is a bit of a trek! Any clue whether he travelled there by himself or with assistance...?

Our lab went missing for about 15 days when I was a kid. The whole family were distraught. He turned up eventually at my nan's house in Loughborough.... go figure that one out!!

Glad Duke is safe and well :D

Yeah it does make you wonder Henryscat but the family are at a loss as to how he got there. He did look well however - didn't look like a dog that had been out all night and day scavenging around for food and shelter!!!
