Eldest - mod1982 - has been fascinated by trains from about 7month old,we used live up Doxey and i'd take him over other side of the Uni car park so he could see the trains coming past. Jesus, the 1 you met this evening,he adored Thomas Tank,we had all the videos (Ringo Starr naturally). He has his brothers enthusiasm for having an outdoor track in the back garden. Pair of 'em have no chance.

Even at my advanced and cynical age the sight and sound of a steam train thundering past makes my heart race with excitement just as it did when i was a child.
