Mousetrap bait?

Goldilox

How do I edit this?
I've never had a jot of luck with mousetraps, whatever they were baited with. The only thing that's ever worked for me is seriously bucking up my ideas about hygene and making sure there was no food available to them (i,e crumbs on the floor, dirty dishes on the counter) for a few months and clearing out all the cupboards and hidy-holes of junk to make sure they had no where easy to nest inside the house, until they'd sought easier pickings elsewhere - probably your house given how close we live! The problem with a terrace like ours is if one house has them they all do - all you can really do is remove the stuff that attracts them and hope the buggers move on to the next one.

sorry but imo a bell collar goes against everything a cat is about. its built for stealth, its built to hunt, its built to kill.
True, but they don't need to kill poor little mices as they get a nice meal at home with no work whatsoever (or they should do).

Its like Ferrari's are built to go a billion miles per hour, but they don't need to (and really shouldn't unless on a race track). Anyway thats a whole new thread

Er......... its in a cats genetic makeup to hunt and kill. Cats dont see mice as 'nice little mices', except in human cartoons. Real cats, domesticated or wild, cant help but see mice as tatgets, just like that bit of string that we dangle for them. By the way, when cats are 'playing' with your dangly string(!) they are practicing how to kill. Even with a satisfactory diet provided by its owner, a cat will go out and kill for sport. You cant say a cat is doesnt need to kill. It's like saying an ostrich doesnt need to run. Its compulsive :D

argument?! i thought the smilies made it quite clear that this was a friendly discussion. you know that tends to happen on a forum lol. if it were an argumment the language would be much harsher and i would say patronising things like, "i take it that you are a girl gk!" ;)

edit for rubbish spelling!
