I am no great fan of him, but in all fairness he has done what people wanted him to do.

We know he spoke with SCC, staffs uni, the new beacon group, SBC a few numerous times etc etc etc.

People complain about MPs not listening, working for them or doing a job....so along with those passionate local folk who pushed for this sports centre to stay open, it is a case Lefroy played his part whether people like it or not.

I am always one to have a go people at those in public office, councils and organisations for not doing enough or doing it badly....but just as I am also one who does not blame the above for what they are not responsible for, I will always give them the credit when the deserve it.

Lefroy`s tenure has been a mixed bag, but on this one the lad done alright.

I think in this case its easier to be seen to be doing the right thing compared to the County Hospital situation where I get the distinct feeling he doesn't want to push the issue with Tory top brass...

What was a ratepayer's asset was given away to people who sold it, but we can still have a kick-about round the back, so that's OK.

Now that is an area he you could say he hasn't done enough in my book.

That said I don't think the tory high brass care what Lefroy or we think. They what to do it their way no matter how sound the arguement is for services

So Lefroy voted against lifting the pay cap for service staff such as NHS, fire fighters and the like. The very same who says he's supporting Stafford Hospital. I haven't disliked somebody more since Grotbags at Emu's World.:grr:

He votes as he is told by his bosses, any illusion that he works for his constituents is merely cosmetic.

He wants to watch that a cheer for defeating tbe opposition maybe be construed as a cheer for making the public sector poorer.

It's disgusting, and shameful. Nothing stopping all of us who find his actions abhorrent in contacting him to tell him so. I know I will be.......... MP's gave themselves a nice fat juicy pay rise recently didn;t they? And the magic money tree appeared when they needed to buy votes from the DUP. Conservative crooks :(
